BD Rowa Germany came across us while searching for a monitor as a system component for existing and future blister packaging machines. The mounting conditions were determined by the size and assembly. The resolution was also fixed based on the existing software.

With an individual touchscreen solution, the customer now has a suitable monitor with short-term availability for many years (follow-up purchase guarantee). This allows the service team to be equipped with standard monitors, so they have suitable spare parts immediately available.

Unique event vehicle relies on a stylish monitor

For its special concept, Hapymio was looking for monitors for photo boxes on nostalgic event vehicles. Easy installation was a main requirement. The monitors had to be built to be robust for mobile outdoor use.

Working together, we found a stylish solution from our standard product portfolio. The appropriate monitor was thus ready for the special application.

Communication via digital signage

Messaging such as advertising or infotainment can be communicated flexibly using multimedia via digital signage solutions. Location and mounting conditions already define the initial requirements for monitor installation: weather or light conditions influence the display, format or frame specifications of the project.

For BLOKK, a storage system for renewable energy, neoom was looking for an easy-to-integrate and reliable user interface. Our MIKKA monitor was set up very quickly with the practical control cabinet installation kit.

The precise multi touch screen guarantees reliable control. Full HD resolution and extended viewing angle ensures that the status indicator remains fully visible. How does the customer feel about the project?

Reliable operation of a dosing system

NEXUS Elastomer Systems GmbH approached MIKKA early in the development process. A Touch Screen Monitor for the operation and visualisation of LSR dosing systems was required.

In the joint product development, we provided our experience, technical drawings and test equipment. The result of the close collaboration: The new product line relies on the long-term trust in the functionality and design of the MIKKA monitors.

Advertising displayed 24/7

Motorway service stations run 24 hours a day: during this time, the advertising messages, such as promotions, should also be displayed digitally and flexibly above the shop shelves. Interruptions are not welcome, reliability is required.

The monitors create attention through their elegant appearance and easy readability of the display. How does this work?

Displays present high-contrast advertisements

We have developed a Public Display solution in collaboration with Cittadino and the Autobahn Tank & Rast Group, which provides advertising display options on both the front and back.

For this purpose, a frame was developed that elegantly connects two monitors and promotes heat dissipation. Additional electronics control and monitor the operation - thus completing this modern media solution.

Robust monitor withstands extreme weather conditions

Tobacco machines are often installed in front of the store. Displays used outdoors must be easily readable even on a bright summer day. They must also be equipped against wind and weather.

The high touch accuracy must not diminish even on a cold, rainy autumn night. Effortless operation is therefore required in any situation. What monitor solutions do we offer for these needs?

User operation combined with outdoor advertising

A monitor for outdoor use in front of tobacco shops was sought. Despite influences such as rain or sunlight, the system had to stay dry and never overheat. In addition to the operating functions, the monitor was required to reliably display advertisements in continuous operation.

Together with the customer, we developed a customised touch screen solution: redesigned parts and temperature-resistant components. The optimised monitor has more brilliance and a protective glass pane. Seals were used and the new O-Line was created, perfect for outdoor use.

Convenient display with touch function

Our high-performance and high-quality monitors are ideal for use in productive locations: for example, offices with meeting zones, conference rooms and of course individual workstations.

In addition to optimising the lighting situation, the desktop line offers various extras for touch interaction or protection during heavy workloads. How can you customise these monitors?

Monitor design in your favourite colour

Their application is special and the use of the monitor in the design is unique. Do you want your desktop monitors in raspberry red, saffron yellow, emerald green, or in any other colour? No problem, you can give us a colour for your high-volume project: the aluminium housing of the screen is anodized using the desired colour.

Challenge in medical technology

Becton Dickinson Rowa Germany GmbH is the market leader for automatic warehouses in pharmacies and hospitals, so-called picking systems. In these systems, the medicinal products are scanned in, stored and issued to the pharmacy’s sales counter via conveyor technology.

Staff members control the machines via an interactive MIKKA touch screen. In addition to the high product quality of the display, supplier reliability is a critical element in the procurement process.

The pathway to success

The staff manages the system on the monitor, using software provided by the customer. This requires a specific resolution. At the same time, the space available for the monitor is specified. A product was thus assembled using components previously tested. It not only meets the specifications with a 19" screen and WXGA+ resolution but is also guaranteed not to be discontinued.

This follow-up purchase guarantee gives our customers more continuity in their planning. The decision on when an item will be discontinued thus lies with the customer.

The result

When selecting a monitor, BD Rowa not only considers the quality of the product, but also that of the supplier. The required ISO-9001 certification confirms the quality of the management system at MIKKA. During audit appointments, the customer also evaluates the status of our in-house processes.
